Morgan Visits!

Image
One of our friends from the Texas came to checkout the Snyder B&B. She got coveted attention from our Roxie... It snowed most of her visit, but we were finally able to take her to our awesome Cheyenne zoo! The Bear demo wasn't to be missed. A closeup of a "Tawny Frogmouth" at Cheyenne Zoo.  I call it our ugliest bird, but they were teaching it to be ready for helpful injections and... it ended up being pretty freakin cute. The ending picture, of course, Followed by more Snyder B&B perks from our new Pepper.  :D

Laura runs for CO Delegate!

Image
This was a first for us.  Laura felt a possible calling as a delegate for CO.  This is from the State convention floor (after going thru both district and county conventions), Here she is... and she definitely worked the crowd, as well as the Congress-members in running. But as you understand, secret service had their eye on us as we picked them out, Cruz even showed up! And here she was with our hopeful... Darrell Glenn, after he'd won a chance to run as our Senator! Laura didn't win a delegate spot, but we later found out she had gotten a great number of votes from other delegates that made it close.  That was kinda cool. :)

More Fun with Pepper

Image
So here's the cute fam pic. But here's what you really came for! (apologies in advance for the low visibility of the girls) And it just never ends...  a good thing. :)

Pepper Arrives!

Image
So, we finally got another Shih-Poo girl! Now we know what Roxie looked like as a baby. :) This is what most of Pepper's day was like - slightly pathetic. :) It was hilarious watching Roxie try to figure out what this thing was... All while this craziness went on, outside... And here's our cutie-pie drawing the line for us... Then, after the storm... more cuteness!

Zoo!

Image
The otters are often hilarious, but this time they put on a show. The snow leopard is definitely Laura's fav. :) And then I've NEVER gotten this close to one of the grey wolves. They look cute, far away, but when they're this close...  it's a little unnerving (not gonna lie).

Big Snow!

Image
So, here are the pics for the Feb 1 snowdays... not topping the NE's accumulation, but close! Roxie pretty much stays under blankets during these days. Here was Laura, clearing the 1st wave. But by night, and the next day, you couldn't tell... That night's sunset was awesome. Welcome to Colorado... where the Sun comes out to burn it all off! But this time, it didn't melt so fast.  Laura went back at it. This was a few days later, but... Wow!

Snowy Time!

Image
Time for some light-snow hiking! He just sat as we walked around him... And found his real worry -- Coyote tracks!    Red Tail Hawk, overhead! And a gorgeous buck who posed for us. Then snuggle time, before... The BLIZZARD hits!  Yep, that's our deck. What's funny is that tomorrow will be high 40s and sunny-gorgeous. "Welcome to Colorado!" they keep saying. :)
