Captain's Blog

So, we've kinda got an awesome view that we can't get over... The interior needs updating, but it's got many rooms and great potential! The previous owners left us a gorgeously manicured lawn. This is a split-level home with 1.5 levels of basement.   It's nice 'n cool down here in the summer! Just a shot of the rooms upstairs... and Roxie. This is a view looking down on the main floor.   We've gotten rid of the orange, tho. ;) Our cute front yard. Snyder B&B -- Open for Business!

Here's our favorite, nearby state park - Mueller!   And the colors are just starting to change! Gorgeous views and the camera can't do it justice. Just so thankful we're able to enjoy this, often. :)

So my friend Ed got the visit... for a Week! We took him to beautiful, nearby Mueller St Park. :) Just one of the many, gorgeous sunsets from our house, during his visit. During the days, Ed made the best of his solo time. Here's some pics of his trip up Pike's Peak. Then, he toured Garden of the Gods.     Later, he and I got hiked into the Cheyenne Canyon area,  just 20 mins from our house.  This is the granite mountain  that NORAD is under, nearby. Ed caught an Awesome pic of a Steller Jay! He's off to a "Big Year." So we drove down Cheyenne Canyon Road and it turned into  an Awesome dirt road that went through 2 rock tunnels.  So cool! Our last great views on the road.   Definitely felt we were "In the Mountains." :)
